I tend not to return to places that I’ve visited because there are far too many other places that I’ve yet to visit. One exception to this rule is Amsterdam, a city that I fell in love with when I first went in December 2016.
For Christmas week in 2017 I returned to a very misty and soggy Amsterdam. The dreariness of the weather did not deter me from getting out and about on the streets and canals in what were challenging but fun shooting conditions.
Now nearly a year later, I’ve just finished booking flights and accommodation to spend to return for Christmas once more and I cannot wait return.
