I never did manage to get a better shot of the eagle that was flying around Hyderabad and it wasn’t for want of trying. I’d spot it but it would be miles away, or if it did come close it was either coming past so close that there was no time to react, or more frustratingly it would be coming out of the sun so all the photo would be was a black silhouette or it would appear at daybreak when there was no light to get a crisp shot. That I was trying to get the photo through a dirt hotel window didn’t help either!
What I did manage to get was a nice shot of an Egyptian Vulture. Yep, whilst most people were looking only at the Taj Mahal, I was looking at the sky as well.
