I’m just now awaiting my lift to the airport so that I can begin my latest adventure – an African safari. I’m going with three friends to the Masai Mara in Kenya, and also spending a few days in Nairobi. If’ve wanted to do a safari ever since I was a chid having grown up watching BBC nature documentaries about the animals on the plains. I’m of course most excited about the photographic prospects and my camera bag is stuffed to bursting. I’ve had to resist the temptation to buy or hire a very large lens and make do with the equipment I already own. What I have should be more then sufficient. As usual, I’ll provide updates when I can and of course pictures. My hotel apparently has wi-fi, but I don’t know how reliable it will be. Either way everything will end up here eventually!
